Rebecca Joyce Jones, Esq.

Rebecca Jones is a California native. She received her paralegal certificate in 2009, working as a paralegal in construction defect litigation while completing her Bachelor’s Degree. In 2010, Rebecca received her Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA. During her time in law school, Rebecca spent over a year as a law clerk with Bay Area Legal Aid in the Domestic Violence and Family Law division. In 2014, Rebecca received her Juris Doctor from John F. Kennedy University, receiving the Witkin Award for Excellence in Evidence along with Certificates in Mediation Training, Public Interest Law, and Children, Families, & the Law. Since beginning her practice, Rebecca has focused on all aspects of family law including child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, asset division, and domestic violence. Rebecca has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for three years running, a recognition received by only the top 2.5% of attorneys in California.

Rebecca has applied her years of experience in these areas to teach courses in both the Juris Doctor and paralegal programs at John F. Kennedy University. Rebecca has previously been an active volunteer with STAND Against Domestic Violence and Tri Valley Haven. She is currently a member of the Junior League of Oakland East Bay.
